Lead With Pronoia, Not Paranoia
Ever heard of pronoia?
It’s the opposite of paranoia—the belief that the universe is conspiring in your favour.
Last weekend, two friends sent me an article on gratitude from the NY Times. I hadn’t seen it yet, but they had me covered.
Fifteen years ago, my reaction would’ve been very different.
Instead of feeling supported, I would’ve wondered:
"Why are they sending me someone else’s work on gratitude? Why not mine?"
Not proud of that, but it’s true.
Back then, I was stuck in a survival mindset—scarcity, comparison, and suspicion.
Today, I choose pronoia.
I believe people are trying to help me.
And it’s changed everything—my mindset, my relationships, my wellbeing, and yes, even my business growth.
Curious what that shift looks like?
