  1. Make a list of what you’re grateful for - by posting your gratitudes as a comment below

  2. Consume other people’s gratitudes - by reading a few posts of what others are grateful for. Feel free to respond to any gratitude with a comment.

Why gratitude is important to me

Debbie Pearmain is passionate about helping people and teams thrive — not just at work, but in life. For more than 20 years she has worked with organizations across Canada to strengthen leadership, build healthier workplace cultures, and support environments where people feel valued, respected, and able to do their best work. Debbie believes that when people feel a sense of belonging and purpose, both individuals and organizations flourish. Her work focuses on helping leaders and teams create cultures grounded in trust, psychological safety, and meaningful connection. Gratitude is an important personal practice for Debbie. She sees it as a powerful way to shift perspective, strengthen relationships, and recognize the contributions people make every day. In workplaces especially, gratitude helps people feel seen and appreciated — something that fuels resilience, engagement, and a deeper sense of community.

Friday March 13, 2026

Half days

As I work toward Friday's off, there are just a few things on my plate today and I should be done by 10 or 11am.

Today I’m grateful for:

  • the encouragement to not always be working and to take more time away from work

  • Nico for putting his social capital on the line for me again yesterday (and I think we delivered as promised)

  • a few more opportunities

What are you grateful for today ?

Have a fantastic weekend !
