The Daily Gratitudes
This is the place to hone your Habitual Ritual.
Here you can practice the two key habits in the Habitual Ritual:
Make a list of what you’re grateful for - by posting your gratitudes as a comment below
Consume other people’s gratitudes - by reading a few posts of what others are grateful for. Feel free to respond to any gratitude with a comment.
We encourage you to bookmark this page and visit it each day to maintain a thriving mindset. Our dream is one billion happier people and one thing is for certain - we need a movement to make this happen and hope you’ll invite your network to join us here. Why gratitude is important to me
I’m a nonprofit leader, mental health advocate, connector, and storyteller. To me, gratitude isn’t just about saying “thank you” to others. It’s a deeply personal practice of turning inward, a moment to pause, look honestly in the mirror, and recognize the progress I’ve made, even when life feels messy or incomplete. Gratitude is the space where I can reflect on my own journey with honesty and kindness, acknowledging both the struggles and the growth. It’s an opportunity to be fully present with myself, to hold both pain and hope without judgment. This practice grounds me, reminding me that healing isn’t linear but happens in these moments of awareness and self-compassion. By cultivating gratitude, I reconnect with my resilience and invite others to do the same, because when we honor our own stories, we open the door to deeper healing and collective growth.
Unsinkable
At Unsinkable, we believe storytelling is how we heal individually and grow together. As a national mental health charity founded by Olympic champion Silken Laumann, we empower individuals to share their lived experiences and transform personal pain into resilience. Through our diverse programs—including peer-led storytelling groups, workplace sessions, and public events—we create safe spaces where personal narratives spark connection, foster empathy, and break down stigma.
Our mission is simple: to bridge the gap between struggle and support by harnessing the transformative power of storytelling. Every story shared through Unsinkable is a step toward personal healing and a reminder that together, we can build a stronger, more compassionate community. Whether it’s a quiet moment of self-reflection or a vibrant live showcase, our work inspires collective growth and fuels change—one story at a time. Learn more here.

Systems
It's reassuring to have systems that enable me to be more present, to worry less, to feel more confident, and more. Some are hard-wired processes, some are agreements, some are personal policies (yes, I have personal policies) - regardless, they provide freedom and direction.
Today I’m grateful for:
a complex backend to my business that I often take for granted
the professors back at SMU and TUNS who laid the groundwork for an engineering mindset that has shaped problem solving in my life
the easy access to AI - and it's ability to identify patterns and build systems I'd never have thought of
What systems are you grateful for today ?
Have a fantastic weekend !
